Vintage 60/70's Menko Tokusatsu 8 cards (Japan)

These items are Menko, a traditional Japanese collectible card game that was hugely popular among children in the mid-20th century.

The card designs feature characters from 1970s tokusatsu TV series. They include giant robots like Red Baron and heroes such as Ultraman, kaiju red King and Kamen Rider.

The goal of the game is to throw your card in an attempt to flip over your opponent’s cards on the ground. Originally made from thick cardboard, these cards are now highly sought after by collectors of Japanese pop culture.
