90's Taiwan Police - Coin bank figure (Taiwan)

Vintage motorcycle traffic police money box, made in Taiwan between the 1990s and 2000s by the toy company Song Feng Industrial Co.

The inscriptions on the motorcycle’s front fairing read “交通警察” (Traffic Police). This figure was issued by the local police and the Taiwanese government as a promotional item to promote road safety in schools and community events.

The sticker on the front mudguard reads: “Value life. Reject illegal racing.”

Important information: The money box still has all of its original stickers and the stopper. However, this particular figure was used by a child in Taipei and has some handwritten Chinese notes made with a marker by a young child.

For us, this is the true magic of this figure: knowing that a child in Taiwan actually enjoyed it and, during their games, added their own little notes to the figure.
